The research project ABIDE is organizing a symposium on the 21st and 22nd of may, in Auditório Sedas Nunes at ICS-ULisboa and online. The full program for the event is now available.
This symposium addresses questions around the narrativization of animals in media and policy documents, analysing how animals are represented – or made invisible – in discursive practices related to wildfires.

On May 7, ICS-ULisboa will host the seminar Machines in Tea Gardens: Legacies of Labour in the Colonial South Indian Tea Plantations, jointly organized by the Research Groups Diversities and Empires and the History of Science, Technology and Environment Group from IHC-NOVA FCSH.
