Ethics Committee

Ethics Committee

The ICS Ethics Committee is delegated by the Scientific Council to guarantee the fulfillment of the procedures established by ICS’ Ethical Charter. The committee, therefore, pursues two main objectives: to homologate the ethical dimensions of research projects in social sciences according to the ethical regulations of competitions they are submitted to; and to provide feedback to researchers and other members of ICS communities, whenever they solicit support with regard to challenges and doubts concerning their professional activities.

Additionally, the Ethics Committee can provide opinions on other situations that may put the ethical conduct of researchers and other members of the ICS community at stake; and organize or support actions for spreading the awareness on ethical issues in research activities.
