The ICS-ULisboa Advanced Research Fellowship was established with the aim of promoting scientific and academic exchange between the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon (ICS-ULisboa) and other national and international academic institutions.

Aimed at PhD-level researchers with an established academic track record, this scholarship aims to support research stays at ICS-ULisboa that contribute to the development of research networks, the strengthening of international scientific collaboration and the promotion of advanced training at the Institute.

Fellowship recipients must develop a plan of activities integrated into one or more of ICS-ULisboa’s Thematic Areas, including the delivery of lectures, seminars or training/specialisation courses aimed at the academic community.

The fellowship is worth €5,000, intended to cover travel and accommodation expenses associated with the period of stay at ICS-ULisboa.

Applications are accepted annually between 15 May and 30 June.
