Marisa von Bülow is professor of political science at the University of Brasilia. She is the author of numerous books and articles on transnational civil society networks, social movements, and digital activism in the Americas, among them Social Movement Dynamics: New perspectives on theory and research from Latin America (with Federico Rossi) (Routledge, 2015) and Building Transnational Networks: The politics of trade in the Americas (Cambridge University Press, 2010).
