Samuel Domingos é investigador do HEI-Lab na Universidade Lusófona e irá apresentar o seu projeto 'Warning Impact: Public Responses to Severe Weather Warnings in Portugal' (COFAC/ILIND/HEI-Lab/1/2024). Este projeto tem como objetivo testar a eficácia de diferentes tipos de avisos meteorológicos de tempo extremo, na promoção de comportamentos de proteção. Aqui o link para o projecto.
Samuel Domingos has a Ph.D. in Psychology, with specialization in Social Psychology, from ISPA - Instituto Universitário. He is a researcher at HEI-Lab: Digital Human-Environment Interaction Labs, and assistant professor at Universidade Lusófona and Universidade de Évora. Additionally, he is a member of the directive board of the Society for Risk Analysis Europe (SRA-Europe), and of the Iberian Chapter of the Society for Risk Analysis Europe (SRA-Europe Iberian Chapter). His research interests focus on public risk perceptions of natural and man-made hazards and new and emerging technologies, with a particular interest in risk and crisis communication.
