This week we begin our regular SPARC seminars for the fall, as usual on Thursday, 14h30-16h00. 

This week we will have Rui Costa Lopes and Mariana Miranda, presenting the following seminar, which combines the presentation of a project as well as an experimental study design:

The Face of Recidivism: A Reverse Correlation Study

We will present an ongoing set of studies. We will start by introducing to the group a task that allows us to visually represent constructs – the Reverse Correlation task. In particular we will explore the mental representation of recidivism and its consequences on the fundamental dimensions of social perception and on prosocial behaviour. We will also discuss the experimental design of the following study.

In terms of logistics, we will begin with hybrid SPARC sessions from now on.

We will meet in Sala Polivalente.
