Richard Rose was a founder professor of the Politics Department and created the Centre for the Study of Public Policy at Strathclyde in 1976. He has published more than 40 books, lectured in 45 countries, writings have been translated into 17 languages and research funded by grants from 13 countries plus intergovernmental agencies such as the World Bank, the UNDP and the European Commission.
