MAPLE Spring School on Political Europe: Themes, Methods and Techniques
2nd Edition of the MAPLE Spring School from 28th March - 1 April
The objective of this School is to showcase recent themes, methods and techniques which are currently employed to study European politics. The school approaches the following topics:
- How Europe, the politicisation of Europe, and the recent Crises have an impact on domestic politics, namely voters, parties, institutions and the media.
- How governments reacted to the multiple crises in Europe, and
- The origins of populism in Europe.
This year our lecturers will be:
-Lea Heyne (ICS), Yani Kartalis (ICS), Luca Manucci (ICS), Catherine Moury (FCSH), Roberto Pannico (ICS), Susana Rogeiro Nina (U Lusofona), Tiago Silva (ICS) and Marina Costa Lobo (ICS).
In addition to lectures, students will have the opportunity to present his/her thesis project. The goal is to create an exchange of knowledge between students and lecturers.
The school will be in English, and it will be online.
