This Thursday, Ana Filipa Madeira, doctoral student in social psychology will present a Seminar with the following title:

«An Introduction to Systematic Reviews of the Literature»

The abstract is the following: 
In this seminar, we will discuss the typology of literature reviews and syntheses (e.g. systematic/non-systematic, narrative/quantitative), the advantages of systematic reviews, and the strengths of empirical evidence as function of the quality of the studies and of the methodological design. We will describe the methods to perform systematic reviews and exemplify how to formulate an answerable research question, define inclusion and exclusion criteria, search for the evidence, and extract data for qualitative analysis and statistical synthesis. ​
