Iberometrics IV
This is the fourth of the Iberometrics series, which started in 2003 (Lisbon) and has since had further editions in 2005 (Siguenza) and 2007 (Valencia). It is organized by a group of economic historians from the Universities of Barcelona, Carlos III Madrid, Valencia, Zaragoza and Lisboa. The purpose is to bring together papers of a cliometric nature which focus on the economic history of the Iberian peninsula and of its links to the colonial empires of Spain and Portugal. The aim is to encourage the discussion of the latest research by scholars interested in these topics. Papers are distributed prior to the meeting and it is expected that participants will have read them beforehand. There will be as discussant for each paper.
