On Electoral Integrity in Angola and Mozambique: Analysis of questionnaires applied to voters of Angola (2022 elections) and Mozambique (2019 elections)

On November 20, the SPARC Research Group is organizing the launch of the book On Electoral Integrity in Angola and Mozambique: Analysis of Questionnaires Applied to Voters of Angola (2022 Elections) and Mozambique (2019 Elections), with the authors Nuno Vidal (PPGHIS/UFRJ & DRI/Open University) and Jaime Seixas Fonseca (ISCSP – University of Lisbon). The event will take place from 2:30 p.m.

Challenging Anthropocentrism in Multi-Species Governance, Law and Policy

he international seminar Challenging Anthropocentrism in Multi-Species Governance, Law and Policy will take place online on October 16, starting at 11 a.m. Dinesh Wadiwel (University of Sydney) and Kimberley Graham will be the guest speakers at this virtual event, co-organized by the Human-Animal Studies Hub, the ABIDE project, and the University of Oulu. Participation is free.

Seminário Ásia-Europa 1500-1800: Reavaliando o comércio global: o comércio euroasiático via Lisboa, 1770-1830

On October 23, another session of the Asia-Europe 1500–1800 Seminar Series will take place, featuring Susana Miranda and João Paulo Salvado, authors of Reassessing Global Trade: Eurasian Commerce via Lisbon, 1770–1830. The session will begin at 5 p.m. in Room 2.2.12 at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon.
