About the speaker:
Sergio Galaz García holds a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE) at Mexico, a Masters in Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in sociology at Princeton University. His thesis research sits at the intersection of political and historical sociology and the sociology of the life cycle process, and researches the short, medium and long lasting capacity that historical events have to become devices of political socialization.
