History of the Social Anthropology

History of the Social Anthropology

This is a long term project, with no foreseeable end, that responds to the constant need to accompany the theoretical and methodological developments that occur in the social sciences in general and, in particular, in social and cultural anthropology.  During the last decade, the project has been very active through an attempt to intervene in the contemporary debate concerning post-modernism, by looking for an inspiration in the work of analytical philosophers such as W.H. Quine and Donald Davidson.

State of the art:
Nas últimas décadas, a hegemonia do culturalismo americano tem trazido problemas muito específicos para a realização da antropologia.
