Objectivos:
The project involves the production of a volume of about 500 pages in which three university specialists summarise and provide a critical analysis of the results of research into medieval, modern and contemporary Portuguese history. The aim is to make this research available to a wide audience and to encourage fresh debate among specialists.
State of the art:
Nas últimas duas décadas foram publicadas, com a colaboração de universitários, algumas histórias de Portugal em vários volumes. Não existe, porém, nenhuma obra de síntese assente na investigação mais recente e da responsabilidade de autores oriundos das novas gerações de historiadores. Este projecto visa preencher essa lacuna.
