The Eco-Schools Programme in Portuguese Educational Communities: Affordances and Constraints to the Development of Competencies for Action
Abstract:
This research will analyze the International Environmental Education Programme 'Eco-Schools' in Portugal, which aims to promote sustainable school management policies and a pedagogy of co-produced and transdisciplinary knowledge. It is intended to understand the reality of the Portuguese Program, at the level of the NGO and the School Schools and Communities that promote it to investigate the factors that constrain and nourish the development of competences for sustainable action in the educational communities.
