This project analyses political attitudes and behaviours of delegates in Congresses of the main political parties in different European Union countries. These surveys were recently conducted to main Italian political parties. At the same time, this research project will also be included in a European research network, headed by Peter Mair (from the European University Institute in Florence) and Petr Kopecký (from Leiden University), which will examine issues related with the internal functioning of political parties and the role they play within governance processes.

<p>This survey is part of an international project which is under development (FCT application carried out in August 2006), and that aims to analyse the political attitudes and behaviours of the delegates in the Congresses of main political parties in different European Union countries. These surveys were recently conducted to main Italian political parties.
