III Graduate Conference of the African Studies Section of the Portuguese Political Science Association

The African Studies Section of the Portuguese Political Science Association organises its III Graduate Conference on 25th November 2026 at the Institute of Social Sciences -University of Lisbon. The event aims to bring together students and early-career scholars whose research focuses on the African continent and contributes to knowledge production within major areas of political science, comparative politics, political economy, political theory and international relations. The Conference also welcomes research embracing multidisciplinary and multi-methodological perspectives on African Politics.

The Conference is open to graduate students (Master’s or PhD) and junior postdoctoral researchers.
