Maria Concetta Lo Bosco
AnnaRita Gori (Arezzo, Italy 1982) graduated from the University of Siena - Arezzo and at the same university obtained a Master's Degree in Contemporary History with a thesis on political doctrines subordinated to the themes of political violence, authoritarianism and totalitarianism.
In the doctoral years, he decided to focus his attention on cultural history by addressing a project on political parties and civil rituals in Florence at the beginning of the 20th century under the supervision of Prof. Massimo Baioni. During the years 2008 - 2012 he was a Scholarship from the Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze bank, which financed his PhD project. In 2012, she completed her PhD at the University of Siena with the title "European Doctor", thanks to the time she was a visiting scientist and fellow Marie Curie (2009) as part of the Marie Curie European Doctorate program at the Institute of Social Sciences of UL.
The time spent in Lisbon, under the supervision of Prof. Rui Ramos allowed him to familiarize himself with Portuguese history and historiography. From this experience was born his Festa da Pátria article: Nuno Álvares Pereira, hero and saint (Lér History 2009) and the desire to continue to take care of the country's cultural history.
His field of specialization is contemporary history, in particular, the study of civil religions, the formation of national identity, and more recently the study of cultural diplomacy understood as the international promotion of cultural life of a country in its basic elements, such as language, art and music.
She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon, under the supervision of Prof. António Costa Pinto, with a project on the relations of cultural diplomacy between Portugal and Italy in the time of fascism.
Since 2008 he has been working as an editor of the Italian Journal of Contemporary History "Memoria e Ricerca", and since 2013 he has been a member of the Scientific Council of the Persistenze o Rimozioni Association. Associazione di giovane ricerca storica he founded with Dr Michelangela di Giacomo. He is also a member of the Association for the Study of Modern Italy, Association of Young Historians - Interdisciplinary Studies, Association for Study of Nationalities, Interuniversity Center for the Storia Culturale (University of Padova, Venice and Pisa).
