A Imprensa de Ciências Sociais convida para o lançamento dos livros Identidade Nacional, Inclusão e Exclusão Social, organizado por José Sobral e Jorge Vala, e Tempos e Transições de Vida, organizado por José Machado Pais e Vítor Sérgio Ferreira. A sessão terá lugar no dia 4 de Maio, pelas 18.00 horas, no Auditório A. Sedas Nunes e a apresentação das obras será feita respectivamente por José Mattoso e Mário Leston-Bandeira.

Aceitam-se candidaturas a uma Bolsa de Investigação (BI), a atribuir no âmbito do projecto de investigação "The role of Angolan ex-combatants in society, politics and the economy", (ref. PTDC/AFR/114738/2009) financiado pela Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) e em curso no Instituto de Ciências Sociais da Universidade de Lisboa, sob a coordenação do Doutor Tilman Brück.

The International Seminar of the Research Project Migratory Trajectories from Africa, Illegality and Gender:  comparative analysis of Portugal and Italy (PIHM/GC/0046/2008) coordinated by Marzia Grassi will be held April the 12th, at 18h in ICS Polivalente Room.  The session  Labour markets, immigration and European policies in the shadow of the crisis  is presented by Giovanna Campani from University of Florence.
