Kuai Shen
Dr. Kuai Shen is an audiovisual artist and multispecies ethnographer. He has a PhD from Deakin University (Australia), one Master in Game Design from Cologne's University of Applied Technology (Germany), and another Master in Arts from the Academy of Media Arts Cologne (Germany). His audiovisual installations repurpose technology-based performances with sensors and algorithms to represent the other- and more-than-human from inverted perspectives. His ant studies have been published by journals such as Society & Animals, Antennae, Art&Australia, Acoustic Space, and books like “Distributed Perception” by Routledge. His artworks have been commissioned by Eli Broad Museum, FACT Liverpool, National Art Gallery Vilnius, House of Arts Brno, and Museo de Arte Contemporaneo in Quito, Ecuador.
