Technical Staff in Portuguese Banking
In this research project, we revisit a research study that was carried out using a protocol between the ICS [Social Sciences Institute] and the SNQTB [Trade Union of Banking Technical Staff] between 2004 and 2006. The aim is now to investigate the issues of active aging and role in society by retired bank technical staff, as well as developing the theme of reconciling work and family life, see how evolved the bank technical staff in these past six years regarding their identification with the employer and occupation, and also the role that they hope it will be played by trade unions in this decade, both as providers of services to members and within corporate banking.
