I Workshop Opensoc

On October 27, the I Opensoc Workshop will take place at ICS-ULisboa, a meeting of students from the PhD programme Sociology: Knowledge for Open and Inclusive Societies. The event starts at 10 a.m., in Sala Maria de Sousa.

The I Opensoc Workshop, part of the inter-university PhD programme in Sociology: Knowledge for Open and Inclusive Societies, is a meeting space that aims to enable dialogue among doctoral students of the programme. The event promotes the sharing of experiences and insights between students and outside researchers, and contributes to a broader understanding of the tensions and possibilities that shape sociological research — both at the intellectual and emotional levels.

We hope this workshop will be a stimulating and invigorating experience, strengthening the sense of academic community and the commitment to a critical, open, and inclusive sociology.

See the full programme at this link. The event is organized by the PhD students Francielli Dalprá and Aurora Ribeiro, with the support of the LIFE Research Group. Attendance is free.
