Target Audience The following are admitted as applicants: • Holders of a master’s degree, or legal equivalent, in the fields of Social Sciences or related field; • Holders of a pre-Bologna diploma, or equivalente, who hold an espeially relevant academic or scientific curriculum that attests to the ability to carry out this doctoral programme. Tuition Fees 1st year – 2750 € 2nd, 3rd and 4th years – 1500 € Grants Students may apply for scholarships offered by FCT or other national or foreign institutions. Grants to support research activities Students enrolled in their thesis at ICS are granted scholarships to support research activities. These scholarships provide financial support for presenting papers at international conferences, short stays at foreign universities and for carrying out field work.
