This research project aims to analyze how changes in parental care, namely in paternity, are reflected in the identity construction of boys, in their practices, in the different contexts in which they play their social roles, and in the perception of masculinities in contemporaneity. We want to know young men' experiences with parenting, and if/how that experience is changing the perception of masculinity, building a new caring identity, and influencing the expression of self-care and caring for others. Especially interesting, we want to know if, and how, emotional care is expressed in the multiple forms of social interaction of these young men.
