Lic, Philosophy, History of Ideas (Universidade Nova de Lisboa/UNL, 2004); Post-Graduation, MA, Philosophy/ Aesthetics (UNL, 2006); Post-Graduation, MA, Communication Sciences/ Film and Television (UNL, 2007). In 2011, I was awarded a PhD in Philosophy/ Aesthetics by UNL having investigated the connection between colour and space perception in architecture and urbanism. I am currently MSc Candidate in Economics and Public Policy at ISCTE-Lisbon University Institute.
Between 2008 and 2018 I was Research Fellow at IFILNOVA - Nova Philosophy Institute/ UNL directly financed by Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT). As Philosophy Doctoral Fellow (2008-2011) I performed both as Research Member and Executive Coordinator (2009-2012) in projects scientifically coordinated by Professor José Gil (Language and Forces: the Unconscious of Language and the Creative Process) and Professor Maria Filomena Molder (Morphology: Questions on Method and Language). As Philosophy Postdoctoral Fellow (2012-2018) I investigated the impact of technology use in urban settings. Also, I lectured MA level course units in English, designing original syllabus strongly related with my research activity.
I am affiliated with CIAUD-Centre for Architecture, Urbanism and Design, Faculty of Architecture, University of Lisbon, since 2006 and since 2018, also with DINÂMIA'CET-IUL - Centre for Socioeconomic and Territorial Studies, ISCTE – Lisbon University Institute (ISCTE-IUL). I am a member of the Portuguese Colour Association (APC) and of the International Colour Association (AIC).
I was Curator and Selection Committee Member at Arquitecturas Film Festival (2017 and 2018 editions) directed by Sofia Mourato. Committed with food sustainability in urban settings, I volunteer at Re-Food 4 Good since 2014, an ‘eco-humanitarian community charity, working to eliminate food waste and hunger on a neighbourhood basis’.
In 2017 I was nominated Ambassador for United Nations’ 2030 Sustainable Development Goals Agenda (United Nations/ Portugal: national scope) representing SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities and SDG 16: Peace and Justice, Strong Institutions.
Currently, I am Postdoctoral Research Fellow at ICS acting as collaborator in the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Project “ROCK: Regeneration and Optimisation of Cultural heritage in creative and Knowledge cities” scientifically coordinated by Doctor Chiara Pussetti and Doctor Roberto Falanga.
