Post-Graduation in collaboration with ISCSP, ISEG, IGOT and the Associação Portuguesa de Demografia.

Objectives

This Post-Graduation aims to develop the skills and knowledge needed in positions, whether public or private, that require training in the area of Demographic Studies. This need is evident with regard to the planning of human resources and equipment, namely at the regional level, as well as in the elaboration and updating of territorial, educational, health, social security and leisure management instruments. In addition to contributing to the response to the great challenge of re-qualifying workers, this Post-Graduate course also aims to provide people still in training with skills that will be relevant both in continuing their studies and in their future professional careers.

Requirements

People with a higher education degree (minimum degree), professionals or students, who are interested in acquiring or deepening their knowledge of Demography and skills in the use of demographic instruments and methods in activities that require the use of data on populations.

Applications

Applications 2022/2023:

1st Call: 4th April 2022 to 30th June 2022
2nd Call: 1st July 2022 to 30th September 2022

The application fee is €100.

Candidates should submit their application with the following documents:

  • Certificate of Qualifications;
  • Academic, scientific and profissional curriculum;
  • Letter of Motivation;

The number of vacancies for each phase is 50% of the numerus clausus. In case of completion of the numerus clausus, ISCSP may close applications early.
The analysis of applications and the respective communication to the candidates is carried out within 15 days after the end of the application period.

Admission

The course will run with a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 20 registrations.
In courses where the number of applications exceeds the numerus clausus (20), the selection of candidates will be made according to the following dimensions and respective criteria, classified on a scale from 0 to 20 values.
